Born from the luminous depths of molten glass, these abstract photographs reframe sculptural details as expansive, high-resolution compositions. Captured through close-up digital photography and printed on archival giclée paper and metal, the works reveal vibrant interplay between light, color, and organic form. First exhibited in Portland’s coffeehouses and independent galleries in the mid-2000s, they marked an early embrace of fine art digital printing as both medium and mode of access. While intimate in scale, the images invite a contemplative engagement with texture, perception, and transformation.
