About Me

Deenie Wallace is a Portland-based filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of narrative, creative technology, and emotional resonance.

Her work spans fiction and documentary. Projects include Working For Me, a character-driven dramedy short and series pilot supported by the Women in Film Portland Educate | Incubate program. She is developing Coding for Compassion, a documentary that explores emotional intelligence and ethical design in artificial intelligence, and writing Red Fugue, a psychological horror about power, perception, and self-determination.

Through Immersive Owl Films, Deenie creates original work that connects craft with conscience and centers socially engaged storytelling across mediums. She is an alum of the Open Signal Media Production Cohort and holds a Film & TV Industry Essentials certificate from NYU Tisch | Yellowbrick. Her creative background spans visual art, web development, and interactive media, shaped by years of independent work building digital platforms and creative brands.

A self-taught glassworker and visual artist, Deenie approaches each medium with curiosity and precision. Her work, whether on screen, in glass, or on the web, balances symbolism and structure, intuition and intention, creating art that is layered, purposeful, and deeply human.
